According to the economic newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, the Cnh group has reportedly sold its Danish division under the Kongskilde brand.
The news comes from a letter written by Carlo Alberto Sisto, president of CNH for the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa), addressed to partners and distributors, as well as a statement given to the newspaper by Giampaolo Mercati, CEO of Seko Industries, the buyer.
Seko Industries, a company owned by the Italian fund Ibla Capital and specialized in the production of machinery for livestock feeding, recycling, and composting, plans to manufacture the equipment at its facility in Padua, doubling its workforce within two years.
It should be noted that, at the time of writing, the details of the sale have yet to be made public, and Cnh has not issued any statements regarding the future of its product line consisting of Kongskilde equipment.
The machines could remain on the list as has already happened for the Överum ploughs, a brand already owned by Kongskilde and sold by Cnh to the German company FairCap, but it could also be hypothesized that Cnh is reviewing the idea of pursuing the full line it had aimed for in 2016 with the acquisition of the Danish company.
Title: Cnh, the full line can wait
