Alliance Agriflex+ 377Xt: strong by nature

The new Alliance Agriflex+ 377Xt tires have been designed to cope with significant loads while minimizing their impact on the terrain thanks to “Vf” technology. Already available today in three sizes, their range will be expanded during 2025

Alliance, a brand belonging to the Yokohama-Atg group, expanded its agricultural offering at the end of 2024 with the launch of the “Agriflex+ 377XT” tyres, specifically designed to equip heavy self-propelled machines, spreaders and sprayers with self-propelled aerial booms first and foremost. Steel carcasses characterized by maximum strength therefore, but also tires that respect the terrain as they are characterized by the “Vf” construction technology, “Very High Flexion”, which ensures the same load capacities offered by standard tires of the same size but with inflation pressures up to 40 percent lower.

Maximum protection of the land

Given that the specific pressures exerted on the ground by a tire coincide with the inflation pressures, “Vf” technology proves to be strategic for protecting agricultural surfaces, in particular those intended for valuable crops. Another plus of the new tires is also inherent in the crampons, designed on the basis of the Alliance “Slt” technology, “Stratified Layer Technoloy”, and therefore composed of two layers of rubber with different profiles. The top layer has a single-angle profile, while the bottom layer is made with a multi-angle profile that compensates for the loss of tire performance due to wear.

Combined action for traction

Together with the more aggressive tread and the optimal number of crampons, the succession of these two layers ensures that the crampons work much better, which means stronger traction on the pitch. “Slt” technology allows you to increase the life of the tyre. In fact, when the upper layer of the crampons – about 40 percent of the tread depth – wears out, the lower layer comes into action and the crampons change geometry. All of the above without the operator having to deal with performance drops in terms of traction given that the design of the layer underneath the primary layer still ensures the performance offered by a new tyre.

It should be noted that the tires are approved in speed code “D”, 65 km/h, thanks to the good road grip ensured by the overlapping of the central lugs and have stubble protection on the sides to be able to tackle terrain that is particularly aggressive towards the tyres. At the moment there are three sizes available, Vf750/50 R26, Vf650/65 R38 and Vf620/70 R46, but during the course of the year the sizes Vf1000/50 R25, Vf1050/50 R32 and Vf750/6 0R46 will also become available.
